WHO WE ARE..
The Scottish Agricultural and Rural Development Centre or the Rural Centre is a business centre that was constructed and established in 1989 for the benefit of the farming and agricultural sector in Scotland.
Most of the organisations that are based here work collaboratively and in sync with each other to help develop farming and agriculture in Scotland.

The Rural Centre is accessed from the A8 giving it easy connections to both the M8 and City Bypass and has close proximity to Edinburgh airport. It is home to a number of organisations including the National Farmers Union of Scotland. There are offices available to let from 109ft2 to 791ft2. HOW TO GET HERE..
Travelling from the East (M8):
- Exit City Bypass (A720) at Gyle Roundabout.
- Enter A8 (Glasgow Road) to Newbridge and drive for about 3 1/2mile
- Enter roundabout and follow signs for A8 Edinburgh (Glasgow Road)
- Enter A8 and drive for about 1.5 miles to Hallyards Road (on left)
- Turn left into Hallyards Road and drive for 300 yrds (Rural Centre on right)
Travelling from the West (M8):
- Exit M8 at Junction 2 and follow slip road to M9.
- Enter M9 and drive for about 1/2mile
- Exit M9 at Junction 1 follow slip Road to Newbridge roundabout
- Enter roundabout and follow signs for A8 Edinburgh (Glasgow Road)
- Enter A8 and drive for about 1.5 miles to Hallyards Road (on left)
- Turn left into Hallyards Road and drive for 300 yrds (Rural centre on right)
